Staff presented a set of goals in these areas and committed to annual updates on <br /> the County's performance relative to these goals. <br /> The BOCC received this report and requested clarification and additional information on several <br /> issues. Staff responses to these issues will be addressed in this report, which is to become an <br /> annual report to the Board. <br /> The 2011 report and presentation represent a subset of the larger body of "Environmental <br /> Responsibility in County Government" Goals adopted by the Board in December 2005 <br /> (Attachment 1). <br /> As discussed with the Board in 2011, AMS staff is collaborating with Department of <br /> Environment, Agriculture, Parks and Recreation ("DEAPR") and the Orange County Solid <br /> Waste Management Department to broaden the performance report against these established <br /> goals in this current annual report. This collaboration will grow in future performance reports to <br />
