Approximately <br /> $10,000 in oneātime, start-up costs were invested by Orange County. <br /> As a part of the written agreement between Orange County and the University <br /> of North Carolina, the University pays all utilities and maintains the building up- <br /> keep at no cost to Orange County. Emergency Services is provided parking <br /> spaces to accommodate the ambulance and three crew members. Orange <br /> County pays for the three employee parking slots, costing $3000 annually. <br /> Other than the operational cost of the unit and personnel, there are no other <br /> recurring costs incurred by the County to deploy a unit from this strategic loca- <br /> tion. <br /> 5 <br />
