MDC is a social justice non-profit that demonstrates how programs and <br /> practices can bridge the gap between opportunity and those left behind by the changing <br /> economy. I have experience in writing and judging grant proposals and applications as <br /> well as planning and overseeing peer-learning events (conferences and summits) as <br /> small as 20 professionals in attendance and as large as 1 ,400. Prior to my work at MDC, <br /> I was a fundraising director for a campaign for the Florida State House. <br /> Volunteer Experience: Most recently I've fostered dogs. Through 2002 I volunteered for <br /> Girl Scouts and worked with young girls as well as young women.
