This last year, fiscal year 2011-12, had the lowest number of <br /> rejected applicants. Therefore not only are total cases increasing, but fewer people were <br /> rejected this year compared to the three prior years. This means that (on average) if a person is released to Pretrial Services on August <br /> 8, 2012 it will take 115 days for their case to progress through the court process. A case is <br /> considered complete if it results in a sentence to prison or probation or if the case is dismissed. <br />
