5 <br /> Amendments of the Unified Development Ordinance, the Planning Director has <br /> initiated amendments to the text of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). <br /> The purpose of the amendments is to make minor changes that have been <br /> suggested by the County's code vendor (MuniCode) as a result of MuniCode's <br /> legal review. The changes are primarily in references to state statutes or seek to <br /> clarify language. <br /> The following Sections are proposed for amendments: 1.1.2, 1.1.3, 1.1.8, 1.4.1, <br /> 1.6.6, 1.8.1, 1.8.5, 2.8.7, 2.22.5, 2.23.9, 2.24.2, 2.25.8, 4.2.1, 4.2.2, 5.3.1, 5.8.4, <br /> 5.15.6, 6.2.6, 6.15.4, 6.16.4, 9.5.4, 9.8.5, 9.9.2, and 10.1. <br /> Purpose: To review the item and receive public comment on the proposed <br /> amendments. <br /> 4. Educational Facilities Impact Fee Ordinance Amendments: Amendments to <br /> Chapter 30, Article 2 of the Orange County Code of Ordinances have been <br /> proposed by Orange County. This section of the code is commonly referred to as <br /> the "Educational Facilities Impact Fee Ordinance." Section 30-34 Public school <br /> impact fee exceptions is proposed to be amended in order to clarify those <br /> instances where an educational impact fee is not required to be paid. <br /> Purpose: To review the item and receive public comment on the proposed <br /> amendments. <br /> Substantial changes in items presented at the public hearing may be made following the <br /> receipt of comments made at the public hearing. Accommodations for individuals with <br /> physical disabilities can be provided if the request is made to the Planning Director at <br /> least 48 hours prior to the Public Hearing by calling the one of the phone numbers <br /> below.
