Orange County, Econorniii: Dev6oprnent's agricultural specialist, <br />Noah Rani reports the following examples: <br />Three (3) Carrboro-based busiresses, Cates Corner Farm, Heels F,armi, and Box Turtle, Bakery - <br />have completed an agricultural study program at the "PLANT (People Learning Agricultu re Now <br />for Tomorrow), IBreeze Farm, Enterprise Incubator' in the northern part of Orange: County, and <br />now sell locally grown Orange County produce at the Carrboro Farmers Market, <br />Five (5) instructor groups at the "PLANT @ Breeze Farm Enterprise tiricubator" - Maple Spring <br />Gardens, Peregrine Farm, Perrywinkle Farm, Sunset Farms, and Wild Hare Farm -sell their <br />locally grown farm produce at the Carrboro Farmers Market. <br />Weaver Street Market has previously contributed $5,000 for needed equipment purchases for <br />the "PLANT @ Breeze Farm Enterprise Incubator". <br />The Piedmont Food & Agricultural Food Processing Center 11i which has now transitloned <br />from a County entity into a non-profit, continues to host a number of Carrboro residents and <br />firms that use PFAP to develop their food processing techniques. PIFAP has imany client's and <br />applicants with direct Carrboro ties.
