Authority commissi6ed the C;amp Dresser & McKee Univerwily <br />Lake Watershed Sas to provide the Board of wid local governing bodies with a reliable <br />basis for implementing land managerritint controls to help assure short and lung term proteefiDn, of the <br />University Lake water supply. On April 23, 1987, the Xuthority initiated a moratorium. on water, and <br />sewer extensions into the watershed. 'Me moratorium �s Maintained WMe the sUidy was conducted <br />and its recommendations were being cowidcred by local gmming bodies. <br />The sWdy, w hkb was completed in Mareb. 1989, evaluated a range of development scenarios and <br />utility service Options, and determined that low dew, iryresidential development served by individual <br />wells and septic systems would, pr=at the least ovcralftisk to University Uke water quality.
