Although there has been some coordination between the County's Planning and Economic <br />Development Departments to prepare comments, Economic Development staff may have more, <br />in addition to Planning Staff, as the process moves forward. <br />Summary of Town of Hillsborouah Next Steas: <br />Second Outreach Session — October 3rd <br />Public Hearing — October 18th, 7:00 P.M. at the Town Barn <br />Planning Board — November <br />Town Board Consideration — December 2012 <br />When will the BOCC discuss again? <br />County staff will return to the BOCC later this year (Late- November to Early- December) with an <br />update on the Town's process and the standard Planning Department form completed, which <br />will outline the County's review and approval process for BOCC consideration. In general, the <br />County's process is expected to include community outreach, Planning Board and BOCC <br />review of the Town's Land Use Plan, Town's Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) swap, and a <br />public hearing.
