At its August 21, 2012 meeting, the Board of County Commissioners directed staff to <br /> bring back aO-annendnnentto the Orange Public Transportation (OPT) budget for the <br /> receipt of additional North Carolina Department of Transportation Rural Operating <br /> Assistance Program (ROAP) funds of $12,713 for FY 2012-13. In reviewing the <br /> approved budgets in OPT for FY 2012-13' staff has determined that the amount of <br /> additional ROAP funds should instead be $52,274. Funding was awarded to Orange <br /> County through a formula allocation to support the temporary personnel and operational <br /> expenses incurred in providing medical transportation to the elderly and disabled <br /> residents and rural public ridership. This budget amendment provides for the receipt of <br /> these additional funds. (See Attachment 1, column 6) <br /> 7. On December 6, 2010' the Board of County Commissioners approved an updated <br /> Inter local Agreement for implementation of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination <br /> System (NPDES) program for the Town of Hillsborough. In accordance with this <br /> agreement, the County provides services to develop and implement the Town's <br /> stormwater program in return for monetary compensation. This budget amendment <br /> provides for the receipt of the 1st- 3 rd Quarter installment payments, totaling $60'525. for <br /> the period October 1, 2011 — June 30' 2012. and amends the current NPDES Grant <br /> Project Ordinance as follows: (See Attachment 1, column 7) <br /> Revenues for this project: <br /> Through FY FY 2012-13 FY 2012-13 <br /> 2011-12 Amendment Revised <br /> Town of Hilisborough $394.000 $80.525 $454,525 <br /> Total Project Funding $394,000 $$0.525 V454,525 <br /> Appropriated for this project: <br /> Through FY FY 2012-13 FY 2012-13 <br /> 2011-12 Amendment Revised <br /> NPDES Program $394.000 $60.525 $454,525 <br /> Total Costs $394.000 $60,525 $454,525 <br /> The Department of Environment, Agriculture, Parks and Recreation (DEAPR) <br /> 8. On June 30, 2012, the Department of Environment, Agriculture, Parks and Recreation <br /> (DEAPR) had unspent facility rental fees, totaling $2.100, generated from the caretaker's <br /> residence at Little River Park. During FY 2011-12. these funds were earmarked as <br /> deferred revenue, for use in FY 2012'13. for equipment repairs to the residence. In FY <br /> 2012-13, DEAPR has also received additional rental revenue, totaling $800, for repairs to <br /> the residence. This budget amendment provides for the receipt and budgeting of these <br /> funds, totaling $2,900, in FY 2012-13.
