Proposed SportsPlex Community Advisory Committee <br />The Board considered a proposed Community Advisory Committee that would advise <br />the Board of Commissioners and County Management an SportsPlex operations and provide <br />direction to staff. <br />Chair Jacobs said that this is to establish a committee to give them guidance on issues <br />that are not policy issues, but those such as operating hours, customer satisfaction, etc. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Halkiotis, seconded by Commissioner Foushee to <br />approve the proposed Community Advisory Committee that would advise the Board of <br />Commissioners and County Management on SportsPlex operations. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />f. Appointments <br />(11 Inter-Faith Council-Appointments <br />The Board considered making appointments to Inter-Faith Council's work groups. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Carey, seconded by Commissioner Halkiotis to <br />appoint Commissioner Foushee as the elected official to the Comprehensive Service Center <br />Work Group and Commissioner Gordon as the elected official to the Men's Residential Facility <br />Work Group. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />10. Reports <br />a. Presentation of 2006-2016 County Capital Investment Plans iCIP) <br />The Board was to receive a presentation of the County Manager's Recommended 2006- <br />2016County Capital Investment Plan. <br />DEFERRED <br />b. Possible Conservation Easements for Greene Tract <br />The Board discussed matters related to the possible recording of conservation <br />easements on portions of the Greene Tract to permanently protect those areas as open space. <br />
