A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner Foushee <br />to appoint Samantha Cabe with a term expiring June 30, 2008. <br />A motion was made by Chair Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner Halkiotis to appoint <br />Thomas Brown as the alternate with a term expiring June 30, 2009. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />2. Orange County Planning Board -New Appointments <br />A motion was made by Chair Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner Halkiotis to appoint <br />Joel Knight for the Little River Township position, with a first full term expiring March 31, <br />2009. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon to appoint Judith Wegner to the at-large <br />position #6, with a partial term expiring March 31, 2007; and David Brower to the at-large <br />position #7, with a first full term expiring March 31, 2008. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Carey to appoint Tony McKnight to the at-large <br />position #7. It was answered that Mr. McKnight is also running for Orange County School <br />Board. Commissioner Carey still wanted to nominate him. <br />Commissioner Foushee suggested leaving the partial term position open (position #6} <br />until the school board elections. The Board agreed. <br />The appointments were Joel Knight for position #2, Judith Wegner for position #7, and <br />position #6 will be left open until after the school board elections. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />3. Egualizatian and Review Board -New Appointments <br />A motion was made by Chair Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner Foushee to appoint <br />Margaret Brown, Jerry Kruter, and Jane Sparks, with the remaining applicants as <br />alternates. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />The Board agreed to appoint Jane Sparks as Chair. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />4. Commission for the Environment -New Appointments <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner Foushee <br />to appoint Lucy Adams to the at-large position #6 with a term expiring December 31, 2007 <br />and Matthew O'Brien to the at-large position #8 with a term expiring December 31, 2007. <br />A motion was made by Chair Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner Foushee to appoint <br />Brian Rosa to the at-large position #15 with a term expiring December 31, 2006. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />5. Recreation and Parks Advisory Council -New Appointments <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Halkiotis, seconded by Commissioner Foushee <br />to appoint Keith Bagby and Chuck Habgaod to partial terms ending December 31, 2007. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />6. Agricultural Preservation Board -New Appointments <br />A motion was made by Chair Jacobs to appoint Patrick McGarry to the at-large position <br />#13 with a term expiring June 30, 2008 and Spence Dickinson to the at-large position #14 <br />with a term expiring June 30, 2009. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />7.
