16 <br /> EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP) <br /> Magellan Behavioral Health provides the County's EAP for County employees and their <br /> dependents. The EAP provides confidential assessment and counseling services, 24/7 <br /> emergency services, and legal consultation. It also serves as a complement to services <br /> provided through the County Health Plan at no cost to employees or their dependents. <br /> The current contract ends December 31, 2013. The County has budgeted $15,500 for the <br /> Employee Assistance Program in Fiscal Year 2012-13. <br /> As part of its health insurance plans, UnitedHealthcare provides an employee assistance <br /> program at no additional cost. Services consist of three counseling sessions, legal and <br /> financial telephone consultations, and six hours of employee training programs. <br /> A - 14 <br />
