a. Minutes <br /> The Board approved the minutes from March 1, 13 and May 15, 2012 as submitted by the <br /> Clerk to the Board. <br /> b. Application for State Aid to Public Libraries <br /> The Board authorized the Chair to sign the application and all future annual applications <br /> for State Aid grant as required by the State Library of North Carolina. <br /> e. Renewal of Contract with Northen Blue, L.L.P. for DSS Leqal Services <br /> The Board accepted the Social Services Board recommendation and approved the <br /> contract renewal for legal representation with Northern Blue, L.L.P., for Fiscal Year 2012- <br /> 2013 and authorized the Chair to sign the contract contingent upon approval of the <br /> Orange County FY 2012-13 budget. <br /> f. Renewal of Contracts with In-Home Aide Providers to Provide In-Home Aide Services <br /> to Eliqible Adults <br /> The Board removed this item and placed it at the end of the consent agenda for separate <br /> consideration. <br /> g_ Renewal of Aqreement for Social Work Services Between Oranqe County Schools <br /> and Oranqe County Department of Social Services <br /> The Board accepted the recommendation of the Social Services Board and renewed the <br /> agreement for eight permanent full time social worker positions and supervision to be <br /> funded through the agreement, and authorized the Chair to sign the agreement contingent <br /> upon the continuation of federal and agreement funding and approval of the Orange <br /> County FY 2012-13 budget. <br /> h. Renewal of Aqreement with UNC Hospitals for DSS to Provide Medicaid Workers <br /> The Board accepted the Social Services Board recommendation and approved the <br /> agreement renewal with UNC Hospitals and authorized the Chair to sign the agreement <br /> pending approval of the Orange County FY 2012-13 budget. <br /> i. Reiection of All Bids for Construction of Walnut Grove Church Road Solid Waste <br /> Convenience Center and Authorization to Rebid <br /> The Board rejected all bids for Bid Number 367-283 for the construction of the Walnut <br /> Grove Church Road Solid Waste Convenience Center and authorized staff to rebid the <br /> project and present a recommended bid to the Board for award at the August 21, 2012 <br /> regular Board meeting. <br /> i Oranqe County ABC Board Travel Policy <br /> The Board approved the Orange County Alcoholic Beverage Control Board's adoption and <br /> use of the Orange County's travel policy. <br /> k. Request for Road Addition to the State Maintained Secondary Road Svstem <br /> The Board forwarded the Petition for Addition to the State Maintained System to the North <br /> Carolina Department of Transportation for a subdivision road in Birdsong Subdivision; and <br /> recommended the Department of Transportation accept the road for maintenance as a <br /> State Secondary Road. <br />
