Summary Resume of experience related to <br /> Art Class for children at the Hillsborough Last Friday Celebration <br /> Frank A.Doonan—Artist and Poet living in Hillsborough,NC. Founder of the Orange Dog Poet <br /> Society. <br /> Address—611 Harper Road Hillsborough,NC 27278 <br /> Phone—9191-616-8695 <br /> E-mail—shunyadragon@ gmail.com <br /> Proposed course—Children's Cardboard Art: Making card board three dimensional sculpture. <br /> The class will be divided by age group for projects.Possibly develop techniques to make puppet <br /> sculpture for the Hillsborough Puppet Parade. <br /> Materials—Suitable materials and tools provided for each different age group,with guidance and <br /> assistance on using tools. Some tools will used only by adults, such as box cutter knives. <br /> Cardboard boxes <br /> Markers,crayons,and possibly paints <br /> Scissors,staplers,tape and glue. Box cutter knives. <br /> My specific experience in teaching the class as proposed are: <br /> (1) 1980s-Developed programs for the Youth Museum of Beckley,WV <br /> Worked with youth on cardboard sculpture for play props. <br /> (2) Hillsborough Arts Council Puppet Parade—Volunteered helping children make puppet <br /> sculpture for the parade. Constructed and wore the cardboard sculpture `Tree Gnome." <br /> Pictures included. <br /> Reference—Mark Donely and Tinka Jordy. <br /> More detailed resume provided upon request. <br />
