The Board considered appointments to the Central Orange Senior Center Design <br />Committee. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Halkiotis, seconded by Chair Carey to appoint <br />Mary Ann Peter to the Central Orange Senior Center Design Committee. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />(2) Carrboro NTA Advisory Board -One New Appointment <br />The Board considered making one new appointment to the Carrboro NTA Advisory <br />Board. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Gordan, seconded by Commissioner Halkiotis <br />to appoint Linda Bowerman to the Carrboro NTA Advisory Board to a first full term ending <br />January 31, 2008. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />(3) Commission for Women -New Appointments <br />The Board considered making new appointments to the Commission for Women. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner Foushee <br />to appoint Gwendolyn Jordan to aNon- Chapel Hill Township position expiring March 31, <br />2007 and Laura Leonard to a Chapel Hill Township pasition expiring March 30, 2006 on the <br />Commission for Women. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />A motion was made by Chair Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner Gordan to appoint <br />Sally McKenzie to aNon-Chapel Hill Township position expiring June 30, 2006 and Ashley <br />Canon to a Chapel Hill Township pasition expiring June 30, 2006 on the Commission for <br />Women. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />(4) Human Relations Commission -New Appointments <br />The Board considered making new appointments to the Human Relations <br />Commission. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Foushee, seconded by Chair Carey to appoint <br />Paul Hrusovsky, Sally McKenzie, Latisha Watford, and A. John Uogt to At-Large positions <br />on the Human Relations Commission. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />(5) Orange County Planning Board -Appointments <br />The Board considered making one new appointment to the Orange County Planning <br />Board. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner Halkiotis <br />to move Jeffrey Schmidt from an At-Large pasition to a Cedar Grove Township position <br />expiring March 31, 2007 and to have the Clerk's office advertise for the two at-large <br />positions. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />(6) Orange-Person-Chatham Area Praarams Board -New Appointments <br />The Board considered making new appointments to the OPC Area Programs Board. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner Halkiotis <br />to appoint Lori Ireland to the OPC Area Programs Board to a first full term expiring <br />December 31, 2008. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />
