6. Appointments <br />a) Affordable Housing Advisory Board -One New Appointment <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Foushee, seconded by Commissioner <br />Gordon to appoint Alejandro Hansen to the Affordable Housing Advisory Board to a <br />partial term expiring June 30, 2006. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />b} Agricultural Preservation Board -One New Appointment <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner <br />Gordon to appoint Mari Trosclair to the Agricultural Preservation Board to a partial term <br />expiring June 30, 2006. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />c) Commission for the Environment -New Appointments <br />Commissioner Gordon said that she had talked to Commission for the <br />Environment Chair Mark Smith and he said that she could suggest moving him from the <br />Air Quality seat into the Engineering seat. She also talked to Kenneth Meardon and he <br />agreed to be moved from his At-Large seat into the Air Quality Seat. She said that only <br />the labels of the positions would change, not the actual position. This would free an At- <br />Large position. Also, Rebecca Vidra has resigned (an At- Large position). <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner <br />Halkiotis to nominate the individuals below with their new labels: <br />Position # 1 Alice Lunsford {At-Large) <br />Position #12-Mark Smith (Engineering) <br />Position # #2 -Kenneth Meardon (Air Quality} <br />Position # 14- William Kaiser (At-Large) <br />Position # 15 Claire Williams {At-Large-Rebecca Vidra's old seat} <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />d} Commission for Women -New Appointments <br />Commissioner Gordon suggested that since there was only one applicant for the <br />Hillsborough Township positions, that the Board not do anything with Hillsborough <br />Township position #2 at this time. <br />Commissioner Gordon nominated Ashley Cannon and Evelyn Giddens far the <br />Chapel Hill Township positions, LaTisha Watford far Hillsborough Township position <br />#16, and Linda Key for the At-Large position. <br />Commissioner Jacobs nominated Sally McKenzie far the At-Large position and <br />Stephanie Chang and Evelyn Giddens far the Chapel Hill Township positions. <br />Commissioner Foushee said that she would also would like Ms. Chang and Ms. <br />Giddens for the Chapel Hill Townships positions. <br />The Board appointed Stephanie Chang to position #4 (Chapel Hill Township} with <br />an expiration date of June 30, 2006 and Evelyn Giddens to position #14 (Chapel Hill <br />Township) with an expiration date of June 30, 2006. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />The Board appointed LaTisha Watford to position #16 (Hillsborough Township} <br />with an expiration date of June 30, 2008. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />
