017 <br />platted lots involved totaling 2.11 acres, 0.83 of which are zoned R -1 and the remainder <br />of which are zoned NC -2. Only the R -1 portion of the lots is affected. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner <br />Foushee to receive the proposal to amend the zoning atlas, refer the comments to the <br />Planning Board with a request that a recommendation be returned to the Board of <br />County Commissioners in time for the August 21st 41 regular meeting, and adjourn the <br />public hearing until August 21, 2012 in order to receive and accept the Planning Board's <br />recommendation and submitted written comments. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />
