Durham County Proposal -New Hope Preserve Interlocal Agreement <br />The Board was to consider and discuss possible participation in a proposal from <br />Durham County to create an interlocal agreement regarding property that is being jointly <br />acquired along the New Hope Creek corridor {which also includes a proposal for a new <br />committee to develop a new plan for a larger segment of the New Hope Corridor. <br />DEFERRED <br />11. Closed Session <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner Halkiotis to <br />go into closed session at 10:32 P.M. for the purpose of: <br />a. "To discuss the County's position and to instruct the County Manaaer and County <br />Attorney on the neaotiatina position reaardina the terms of a contract to purchase <br />real property," NCGS ~ 143-318.11fa)(5).
