On Friday March 30,many venues will have artist and opening <br /> receptions from 6—9 pm. <br /> • The Gallery at the Hillsborough Arts Council at 220 South Churton Street <br /> presents "Hillsborough Downtown Arts& Crafts Show Preview" featuring <br /> fifteen of the artists participating in the popular annual Hillsborough Downtown <br /> Arts & Crafts Show to be held on Saturday,April 14th. A variety of media <br /> represented include pottery,jewelry, fiber, glass, wood, painting, <br /> collage and photography. <br /> • The Eno Gallery at 100 South Churton Street presents "Totems and Talismans" <br /> Sculpture Invitational. Eleven artists exhibit their contemporary interpretations of <br /> "Totems and Talismans". Exhibiting artists include: Alice Ballard, Lisa Creed, <br /> Daniel Essig, John Geldersma, Virginia Gibbons, Kelly Guidry, Tinka Jordy, <br /> William Moore, Hope Swann,Kathy Triplett, and Susan Wells. A solo <br /> exhibition of ceramic vessels in the lower gallery will be featuring Donna <br /> Polseno "Metaphors of Containment". <br /> • The Hillsborough Artists Cooperative and The Skylight Gallery at 102 West King <br /> Street will be featuring work by studio artists Jayne Romberg and Tom Guthrie <br /> (The Studio of Collective Effervescence),Jennifer E. Miller,Andrea DeGette, <br /> Jacquelin Liggins, Tiffney Marley, and Calvin Brett. The Skylight Gallery and <br /> DiRu Designs presents debut art exhibit"Queens"featuring the eclectic art work <br /> of Dimples Gibss and Ruby Johnny. <br /> • Cup A Joe at 120 West King Street presents paintings by Brad Farlow. <br /> • Sovero Art Gallery& Studio at 121 North Churton Street, Suite 2-13 will be <br /> featuring jewelry and oil paintings by Peruvian artist David Sovero. <br /> • The Hillsborough Gallery of Arts at 121 North Churton Street presents <br /> "Primaeval"featuring paintings by Ellie Reinhold,photography by Eric <br /> Saunders, and sculpture by Lynn Wartski. <br /> Brochures with a map of the Last Fridays Art Walk are available at any of the <br /> participating venues or at www.lastfridaysartwalk.org. <br /> The Hillsborough Arts Council, a non-profit organization supporting the arts in <br /> Hillsborough,with funding support in part from the Orange County Arts Commission, <br /> Town of Hillsborough Tourism Board, and private contributions.
