On Friday February 24, many venues will have artist and <br /> opening receptions from 6—9 pm. <br /> The Gallery at the Hillsborough Arts Council at 220 South Churton Street will be <br /> featuring"Personally Yours: Portraits and Cottage Scapes"by Dorothy Whitmore. <br /> The Eno Gallery at 100 South Churton Street will be featuring "Totems and Talismans" <br /> Sculpture Invitational. Eleven artists exhibit their contemporary interpretations of <br /> "Totems and Talismans". Exhibiting artists include: Alice Ballard, Lisa Creed, Daniel <br /> Essig, John Geldersma, Virginia Gibbons, Kelly Guidry,Tinka Jordy, William <br /> Moore, Hope Swann,Kathy Triplett, and Susan Wells. A solo exhibition of ceramic <br /> vessels in the lower gallery will be featuring Donna Polseno "Metaphors of <br /> Containment". <br /> The Hillsborough Artists Cooperative and The Skylight Gallery at 102 West King Street <br /> will be featuring work by studio artists Jayne Bomberg and Tom Guthrie (The Studio <br /> of Collective Effervescence),Jennifer E. Miller, Andrea DeGette,Jacquelin Liggins, <br /> Tiffney Marley, and Calvin Brett. The Skylight Gallery will be featuring"Dreams for <br /> Tomorrow" acrylic on wood by Calvin Brett. The show is a fund raiser for The <br /> Tomorrow Fund for Hispanic Students. Calvin Brett will donate 40%of his sales to the <br /> fund and the show's visitors may also donate to the fund. <br /> Cup A Joe at 120 West King Street will be featuring photography by Dallas Pridgen. <br /> Sovero Art Gallery& Studio at 121 North Churton Street, Suite 2-13 will be featuring <br /> jewelry and oil paintings by Peruvian artist David Sovero. <br /> The Hillsborough Gallery of Arts at 121 North Churton Street will be featuring"Ebb& <br /> Flow"new artwork by the 22 local artists at the Hillsborough Gallery of Arts. <br /> Brochures with a map of the Last Fridays Art Walk are available at any of the <br /> participating venues or at �vvnv.lastfridaysartwalk.or�),. <br /> The Hillsborough Arts Council, a non-profit organization supporting the arts in <br /> Hillsborough, with funding support in part from the Orange County Arts Commission, <br /> Town of Hillsborough Tourism Board, and private contributions.
