4. Operations. <br /> a. SORS members shall utilize the National Incident Management System <br /> (NIMS) during all training, exercising, and all other operations. OCES <br /> supervisory/command personnel shall assume command of operations <br /> following arrival and a briefing from the IC of SORS. <br /> b. When operating under the auspices and/or supervision of the OCES, SORS <br /> personnel shall conduct themselves in a manner, which complies with the <br /> policies of the County, which addresses harassment, discrimination, personal <br /> conduct, drug free work place, and employment of relatives. <br /> c. All SORS members will operate under the supervision of the senior Orange <br /> County command officer. <br /> d. SORS shall submit the successful completion of ICS 100, 200, 700 and 800 <br /> from a training institution recognized by the North Carolina Division of <br /> Emergency Management or may submit the FEMA certificates of completion. <br /> e. OCES retains full authority for the care and treatment of all patients provide <br /> by members of SORS. <br /> f. SORS shall provide a County-approved Emergency Medical Technician-Basic <br /> to staff an ambulance in the current modified DuPont schedule configuration. <br /> The County will work with SORS if it is necessary to adjust the schedule. <br /> 5. Governing Law. This Operations Agreement and the duties, responsibilities, <br /> obligations and rights of respective parties hereunder shall be governed by the laws of <br /> the State of North Carolina. <br /> 6. Extent of Agreement. This Agreement represents the entire and integrated agreement <br /> between the County and the SORS and supersedes all prior negotiations, <br /> representations or agreements, either written or oral. This Agreement may be <br /> amended only by written instrument signed by both parties. <br /> 7. Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is held as a matter of law to be <br /> unenforceable, the remainder of this Agreement shall be valid and binding upon the <br /> Parties. <br /> 8. Notice.
