FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br /> Date: <br /> National Touring Production of The Lady of Bullyburg, <br /> an Anti-Bullying Fairy Tale, to Perform Locally <br /> Bright Star Touring Theatre, a national professional touring theatre company based in Asheville, <br /> NC, is visiting the area with their acclaimed production of The Lady of Bullyburg. <br /> The Lady of Bullyburg is an anti-bullying fairy tale designed to give young audiences the tools <br /> they need to effectively deal with a bully. The production encourages young audience members <br /> to speak with adults, stay in a group, avoid the bully, and, if they are comfortable doing so, to <br /> peacefully confront the bully. The show has garnered national attention since its debut in 2004 <br /> and has been seen by thousands of audiences across the United States. <br /> Among other venues, The Lady of Bullyburg was performed at the National Theatre in <br /> Washington, DC and has been hailed by educators as an empowering production capable of <br /> transforming audiences and school environments.
