Rod Visser said that the balance of the money does help Orange County in helping to <br />replace technology. <br />Commissioner Halkiotis asked if the County could track cell phone calls to 911. EMS <br />Director Jack Ball said that there is phase 1 and phase 2. Phase 1 gives the tower location of <br />where the cell phone is transmitting. Under phase 2, it provides the location of the phone. Not <br />all cell phone companies have the phase 2 capabilities. <br />Commissioner Jacobs asked about money in the budget to do the Strategic Emergency <br />Services Plan. Rod Visser said that this was discussed late in the budget process.
