Exhibit B—Scope of Services—Fiscal Year 2012-13 <br /> Orange County Outside Agency Performance Agreement Certification <br /> Funded Amount: $10,000 <br /> Agency: Habitat for Humanity, Orange County, NC, Inc. <br /> Program <br /> In partnership with community volunteers and the future homebuyers, HHOC builds and sells <br /> green-certified, energy efficient homes to homebuyers who meet HHOC's selection criteria. <br /> Purpose <br /> HHOC's program purpose is to increase the homeownership rate in Orange County for families <br /> who earn sixty percent or less of the area median income, live in substandard housing, and could <br /> not otherwise purchase a home in Orange County. <br /> Outcomes <br /> At least ten former renter households who live and/or work in Orange County and who were <br /> living in substandard homes will successfully complete 325 hours of sweat equity, including <br /> homebuyer education classes and financial counseling, and will purchase a home for the first <br /> time.
