•
increase the part they play in their community, enriching both the individual we serve
and the community at large.
As the people we serve earn their own income they depend less on benefits. They
are able to take advantage of improved housing options as well as participate in more
recreation and leisure activities.
For students, OE Enterprises provides services that lead to employment. We work
closely with the transition staff and teachers in each high school to provide the
service each student needs. This includes learning what work is and reasons that
people work, good work habits, how to find and keep a job and how to decide what
type job you want and can do well Methods for learning these include Job Club,
visits from community employers, job shadowing at a variety of jobs and visits to
different educational resources. We also assist students in performing both
volunteer and paid work in their community. When the student completes school
they have a plan for their next step. If they have decided to go directly to work they
will have a job. When students have success through the transition program and see
that they can reach their dreams they are more likely to remain in school.
Funds will assist in paying for costs associated with staff salaries, transportation,
materials, supplies and direct support services.
Description Expense Justification
Personnel needed to train consumers both in the
Personnel -Salaries $30,900 facility and in the community
Personnel - FICA and Fringe $2,200 Taxes and benefits for staff
Mileage associated with transporting consumers
Travel/Mileage $2,500 for job placement and training services
Supplies needed for office functions and
Office/Program Supplies $1500 consumer needs
Maintain operational building for consumers and
Rent and Utilities $8,000 staff
Miscellaneous
Other Expense
Other Expense
Other Expense
.L .
Certified b • CL_CUL Tide: R tat( Date:1?2, 120 I ?—
Nisi
