For some reason I recall thinking the $35,000 proposal was sufficient <br /> for our use. However, after speaking with Chip Rodgers today, he clarified his proposal and said Orange County needs <br /> all 3 components, as they work together to give the broadest range of services. <br /> Page 4 of the attached Invoice proposal gives 3 separate levels to join: <br /> • Basic Access @ $12,000 <br /> • Business Intelligence Access @ $9'000 <br /> • Retail Matching Access @$35,000(to determine sales tax leakage) <br /> Also,there is an additional $15,000 annual renewal option for year#2 and beyond, if desired. <br /> I understand we will use funds from theY4cent sales tax to fund this purchase. <br /> If you feel the higher$56,000 price tag is warranted,the Buxton proposal is attached for Legal to draft a purchase <br /> contract. As I mentioned, since this was written we have increased the price to $63,000, but will honor the pricing as <br /> proposed originally.
