The purpose of this Statement of Work is to <br /> outline and review the specific solutions offered by Buxton as well as the associated benefits and costs. <br /> • Orange County, NC's business objectives are: <br /> o At this time Buxton has been asked to develop and provide retail recruitment and retail business retention <br /> analysis focused on the residents and workers in Orange County. More importantly, Buxton will provide <br /> the tools that translate the analysis and identification of the individual consumers that make up each of <br /> these distinct consumer populations into insights that are to be used in an ongoing manner to drive <br /> strategies for retail recruitment and business retention and expansion <br /> • Buxton solution: <br /> o SCOUT®-The ability to analyze any given point within the city to understand: <br /> • Retail trade area, <br /> • Residential and workforce consumer populations within the trade area, • <br /> • The specific retailers that match the profiles of the trade area's consumer populations <br /> o Additionally, there is a need for the ability to generate marketing materials reflecting the retail <br /> opportunities for the purposes of recruitment and development. <br /> • Benefits: <br /> o Since 1994 Buxton has been assisting business leaders make informed decisions based on Best of Class <br /> Analytics.
