Jacquelyn Gist said that there have been times when there were immediate issues at
hand like solid waste and watershed issues. She suggested that the informational meetings be
limited to an hour and to consider a social component so that there can be casual discussion.
Bill Strom said that rotating the hosting is a good idea. He agreed about putting meatier
topics on the table and to having an informal conversation. He said that it is helpful to hear what
each jurisdiction is doing.
Commissioner Gordon asked if rotating the hosting would take care of the problems.
Jacquelyn Gist suggested having an agenda planning committee.
Ed Harrison suggested having the lead elected officials in the jurisdictions to work it out
and agree in principle to rotate.
A motion was made by Ed Harrison, seconded by Jacquelyn Gist to adjourn the
meeting at 9:40 p.m.
VOTE: UNANIMOUS
Moses Carey, Jr., Chair
Donna S. Baker
Clerk to the Board
