Three <br /> counties (Orange, Person, & Chatham) will be consolidated with Alamance, Cabarrus, <br /> Davidson, Franklin, Granville, Halifax, Rowan, Stanly, Union, Vance and Warren Counties to <br /> form a new fifteen county area mental health authority, which will be known as Cardinal <br /> Innovations Healthcare Solutions. The fifteen counties will be divided into four catchment areas <br /> that mirror the current county partnership. Orange, Person and Chatham Counties will be <br /> covered by a local unit known as the OPC Community Operations Center. The local community <br /> operations centers will each have advisory boards that include the following representation: <br /> >>> Three members from each county (representing the areas listed below) all to be appointed <br /> by the Board of County Commissioners: <br /> • County Commissioner or designee <br /> • Consumer or family member <br /> • Other citizen or stakeholder <br />
