5 <br /> June 5, 2012 <br /> Bernadette Pelissier <br /> Chair Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> Dear Chair Pelissier <br /> It is with deep regret that I write to inform you that I must resign my position as Chair of the <br /> Planning Board earlier than I had expected. Effective June 7,2012, I tender my resignation to the Board. <br /> I have so enjoyed working with all of you as we have gone about the business of improving the <br /> development attractiveness of Orange County to both our citizens and commercial entities. I only wish I <br /> could continue to see the work of the Board into next year. <br /> My priorities of late have forced me to consider my business and family of primary importance <br /> and that choice has increasingly been at the expense of my Board responsibilities. Having served so long <br /> on the Board, I believe the Chair's job must be focused and of equal priority, as my predecessors had <br /> demonstrated to me and I hope I have demonstrated in the past. <br /> I certainly hope you understand my decision and move quickly to replace me as Phase II of the <br /> UDO deserves "all hands on deck"for its successful implementation.Thank you for allowing me to serve <br /> Orange County in such an important role. <br /> Respectfully, <br /> Ozieue Z. &i.eopad-Seal <br /> Brian L.
