Also the assurance of knowing that these facilities are <br /> being governed by guidelines, rules and regulations that they have to adhere to and that <br /> there are committees to visit these faciliteis to ensure that these guidelines are being <br /> carry out. It is difficult enough to have to place our elderly family members in a facility <br /> but having the reassurance in knowing that they are being well taken care of makes this <br /> transition a lot more bearable. <br /> Volunteer Experience: <br /> I volunteer at my church, Hospitality- serving guests of the Pastor and greeting members <br /> as they enter the church, Sisters of Jubilee- visiting the Women prisons in Raleigh, <br /> organizing birthday parties, prayer and fellowship, visiting the sick and shut in. <br />
