The purchase of the required computers will be accomplished in two phases. Phase <br />I of the project will include the purchase of 650 laptops for the District's teachers, which will be <br />paid for with funds from the District's 2011 -2012 Budget. Phase 2 of the project involves the <br />purchase of 4,100 laptop computers for students in grades 6 -12, which will be financed through <br />a lease /purchase agreement.
