2 <br />Social Services and Aging in close coordination will continue to combine resources to extend <br />provision of "In -Home Aid Services" under Block Grant stipulations and consistent with <br />mandates for seniors at -risk to placement. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: The Home and Community Care Block Grant for FY 2012 -13 provides a <br />total of $510,464 in State funding to support a network of aging services throughout Orange <br />County. The required match is provided through funds already included within Departmental <br />and Outside Agency operating budgets. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board approve the Home and <br />Community Care Block Grant Funding Plan for FY 2012 -13 in the amount of $510,464 and <br />authorize the Chair to sign the grant documents. <br />
