Orange County NC Website
In the Create Phase, we explore possibilities in function, structure, look & feel, and content. This phase involves 5
working with the data from the Think Phase to begin to actually create real world 'stuff', from site maps to the
look & feel of the site, as well as defining specific documentation for the technical development. o
Z
The Create Phase includes the implementation of the functionality, design elements, and system architectures
developed earlier. Here we develop all front -end and back -end technology. The site is continuously tested and D
refined until it is deemed fit for release. We test all functionality, migrate the site to the live environment (which M1
may include mapping existing content to a new structure and CMS platform), formally launch the site and c
transfer site maintenance to the client.
MEASURE
Our methodology and approach are dependent on the actual performance of the pieces we produce. All of
our ideas begin with the client's business or institution objectives. They are measured throughout the process
for how well they communicate the key message and comply with the brand strategy. And they are judged by
the specific, quantifiable results they achieve. Whereas most agencies are satisfied with ending the process
when the site is launched, we at VisionPoint take it one more step further. We know that building a website and
getting users to your website are two separate initiatives.
The Measure Phase allows us to make sure that the site is working for your organization and achieving your
marketing goals. We test all output against the measurable success criteria that had been decided on at the
beginning of the engagement (in the Think Phase), and if the desired result is not being achieved, we tweak
where possible and continue to monitor, measure and refine until your goals are met.
These phases will be applied to this project as described in the following pages.
O 2012 VisionPoint Media, Inc.
