b. Appointments <br />(1) Board of Health -Reappointments <br />The Board reappointed Dr. Jessica Y. Lee to the Dentist position and Dr. Tim Carey to the <br />Physician position to first full terms expiring June 30, 2007. <br />(2) Commission for Women -One Reappointment <br />The Board reappointed Bonnie M. Motor Vehicle Property Tax ReleaselRefunds far July 2004 <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign a refund resolution, which is incorporated <br />by reference, related to 77 requests for motor vehicle property tax releases or refunds in <br />accordance of North Carolina General Statutes. <br />g_ Applications for Property Tax Exemption <br />The Board approved four {4} untimely applications for granting exempt status from Ad Val Orem <br />taxation for the 2004 tax year. <br />h. Property Tax Releases <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign a resolution to release property values, <br />which is incorporated by reference, related to three {3) requests for properly tax releases in <br />accordance with N.C. General Statute 105-381. <br />i. Property Tax Refunds <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign a refund resolution, which is incorporated <br />by reference, related to two (2} requests for property tax refunds in accordance with N.C. <br />General Statute 105-381. <br />L Property Value Chances <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign a resolution, which is incorporated by <br />reference, approving value changes made in property values after the 2004 Board of <br />Equalization and Review has adjourned. <br />k.
