Triebel to terms expiring June 30, <br />2007. <br />c. Motor Vehicle Property Tax ReleaselRefunds <br />The Board adopted a refund resolution, which is incorporated by reference, related to 101 <br />requests for motor vehicle property tax releases or refunds. <br />d. NC State Firemen's and Rescue Squad Pension Fund Certification Roster <br />The Board approved the certification requirements for the Fire Marshal to participate in the <br />North Carolina State Firemen's and Rescue Squad Workers' Pension Fund and authorized <br />the Chair to sign. <br />e. North Chatham Volunteer Fire Department - Amendment to Fire Protection <br />Contract for Damascus and Southern Trianale Fire Districts <br />The Board amended the contract between the County of Orange And the North Chatham <br />Volunteer Fire Department for an increase in the 2004 - 2005 budget for fire protection <br />services in the Damascus and Southern Triangle Fire Districts, subject to final review by the <br />County Attorney, and authorized the Chair to sign. <br />f. EMS Events and Facilities Contract Renewal - Oranae EMS & Rescue Sauad <br />The Board renewed, on a month-ta-month basis, the existing contract with Orange EMS & <br />Rescue Squad, Inc. to provide for special event coverage, leasing of space in Squad <br />buildings, and the sharing of County and Squad resources in the delivery of emergency <br />medical services for the period July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005, subject to final review <br />by staff and the County Attorney, and authorized the Chair to sign. <br />,g_ Approval of Fiscal Year 2004-05 Budget Ordinance, Capital Project Ordinances, <br />and Grant Project Ordinances <br />This item was removed and placed at the end of the consent agenda far separate <br />consideration. <br />h. Application far State Public School Building Capital Funds <br />The Board approved an application to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction to <br />release funds from Orange County's Public School Building Fund account for the 2003-04 <br />debt service payment related to construction of A. L. Stanback Middle School and <br />authorized the Chair to sign. <br />i. Authorization for Staff to Bid and Acquire Grant Funded Decontamination <br />Equipment <br />The Board authorized the Purchasing Director andlar her designees to execute all <br />documents necessary to implement and carry out the bidding and acquisition of the <br />decontamination related equipment at a cost not to exceed the available grant funding of <br />$21,677. <br />I. Bid Award: Construction of Stormwater Management System for C & D Landfill <br />The Board awarded bid number 1390 to CJ Maclsaac of Eden, North Carolina at a total cost <br />of $59,475 and authorized the Purchasing Director to execute the necessary paperwork. <br />m. Approval of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement Establishing the Orange- <br />Person-Chatham Local Manaaement Entity [LME) <br />
