Chair Jacobs said that, despite newspaper reports to the contrary, they are not going to <br />go to extremes in enforcing the political sign ordinance. The Planning staff will work in a <br />cooperative manner to help candidates figure out where they can and cannot put their signs. <br />They will remove signs that are hazards to drivers. He said that there would be a public hearing <br />in the fall to clarify the ordinance in time for the general election in November. <br />Chair Jacobs said that he worked with Greg Wilder to put together the more significant <br />accomplishments that the Board of County Commissioners made in the last year.
