He thinks this will usher <br />Hillsborough into the 21St century and that this is momentous. <br />Commissioner Brown agreed with Commissioner Halkiotis and the need is clear. There <br />is a need for job training and for people that do not plan to go away to a university. <br />Chair Jacobs pointed out that they have also spoken with Triangle Transit Authority and <br />the hope is to collaborate with the transit systems so that there will be public transportation to <br />this site. He also thanked the developers of Waterstane far working with the County and for <br />being cooperative. He would like to reconstitute the group to work with DTCC and talk about <br />the middle college concept, parking, library facilities, etc. and have an ongoing and active <br />collaboration. <br />
