County of Orange, NC <br />Inventory Management Overview <br />RFP #5183 <br />The Waste Inventory Module allows personnel at the collection sites to create and track drums, <br />labpacks, and containers of any size. As each container is filled and placed into storage, this <br />information is entered into the online module. Packing lists can be printed directly from the <br />Module and attached to the containers. <br />When ready for shipment, the data is submitted electronically through the website directly to our <br />waste coordinator. E- mailing or faxing packing lists is no longer required. Shipping documents <br />can be created using the containers selected for shipment. Since inventory is being managed at <br />the time of creation, data integrity is improved by eliminating the need to manually edit <br />paperwork. <br />Utilizing the Waste Inventory Module will allow County personnel to track their waste through <br />to final disposal or recycling at a Clean Harbors' facility. It can also track waste back to <br />individual cost centers, thereby giving you the ability to report on volumes from specific units <br />within the permanent HHW collection facilities. <br />Document Imaging and Retrieval System <br />All manifests, worksheets, weight tickets, and other related documents associated with every job <br />Clean Harbors manages are scanned into our Document Imaging and Retrieval System. Scanned <br />images are indexed for viewing, updating, and linking to waste tracking reports.
