12. Prevent, contain and clean any spills occurring in the process of regular site operations or <br />emergencies. <br />13. Provide all necessary collection, bulking, processing, combining, and transportation equipment <br />and supplies as needed to meet contract requirements except those provided at the two facilities. <br />14. Document and update staff qualifications and training. <br />15. Comply with all North Carolina HHW permit requirements. <br />16. Comply with all local, state and federal laws regarding HHW collection, processing, transportation <br />and disposal. <br />17. Comply with all Orange County building fire codes. <br />18. Comply with all Federal OSHA regulations and requirements. <br />19. Provide labeling on all hazardous waste collected and /or stored. <br />20. Evacuate permanent facility sumps as needed to maintain permit compliance and /or as necessary <br />to enable service. <br />21. The Provider shall always provide exemplary customer service. <br />22. The Provider shall keep current waste manifests of all HHW to be stored at the permanent <br />facilities on Eubanks Road and Walnut Grove SWCC. <br />V. TERM <br />Services provided by Provider shall be managed by an HHW Program Agreement. The term of the <br />Agreement between County and Provider will be for five (5) years, proposed to be from July 1, 2012 <br />through June 30, 2017. At the close of the initial five (5) year term the contract may be extended at the <br />option of the County and with the agreement of Provider to include up to two (2) additional two (2) year <br />renewal periods provided that. <br />• funds are authorized annually by the Board of Orange County Commissioners, and <br />• the Contract is not otherwise terminated through provisions of another clause of the Contract. <br />Page 11 <br />HHW RFP # 6183 <br />
