Closed Session <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner Carey to <br />adjourn into closed session at 3:35 p.m. for the purposes of: <br />"To discuss the County's position and to instruct the County Manager and County Attorney <br />on the negotiating position regarding the terms of a contract to purchase real property," <br />NCGS § 143-318.11(a}{5}. <br />""Pursuant to G.S. § 143-318.11 {a}{3) "to consult with an attorney retained by the Board in <br />order to preserve the attorney-client privilege between the attorney and the Board, regarding <br />Orange County vs. Deng et al; and Orange County vs. North Carolina Historical <br />Development, Inc. et al." <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Brown seconded by Commissioner Gordon to re-convene <br />into regular session at 4:20 p.m. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />
