The issue remains about the capacity. <br />He said that if the Board were to transmit a request to the school boards to stick with the <br />capacity figures that were already in place and then work later to change the capacity figures, <br />then there would be the same capacity numbers as of November 15, 2003 as there were as of <br />November 15, 2002 with the exception of the addition of 100 seats at Hillsborough Elementary. <br />John Link said that he would like to ask the Board to act on what has been articulated. <br />He thinks the Board should be able to act on all of the items except the capacity issue. <br />Chair Jacobs suggested coming back at the next meeting with an action item and the <br />next steps. <br />John Link said that he will make sure that this is in bullet form for the next meeting so <br />that the Board has clear steps to act upon. <br />8. Proposed Orange County 2004/2005 Secondary Roads Construction Program <br />The Board discussed and received comment on North Carolina Department of <br />Transportation's Proposed 2004/2005 Secondary Roads Construction Program for Orange <br />County. <br />Karen Lincoln said that NCDOT staff is here tonight for this public hearing. She turned <br />this item over to Division 7 Engineer Mike Mills for the presentation. <br />Mike Mills said that Daug Galyon could not be here and he sent his regrets. He <br />introduced his staff.
