The proposed board's <br /> 12 membership shows one representative each from Chapel Hill Transit, Hillsborough, and <br /> 13 Mebane but this representation does not correspond with the relative distribution of population <br /> 14 in these geographic areas. Chapel Hill Transit would include both Chapel Hill and Carrboro, <br /> 15 and this area has the majority of the population in Orange County. <br /> 16 Commissioner Jacobs suggested putting the transit item first on the June 5t' agenda. <br /> 17 Chair Pelissier made reference to page 8 on the BRI plan and said that she does not <br /> 18 think that five years is an appropriate timeframe. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 8. Affordable Housing Advisory Board (AHAB)—Appointment <br /> 38 The Board considered making an appointment to the Affordable Housing Advisory <br /> 39 Board. <br /> 40 A motion was made by Commissioner Foushee, seconded by Commissioner Yuhasz to <br /> 41 appoint Ms. Martha Hoyleman to the At-Large Position on the AHAB with a term ending June <br /> 42 30, 2015. <br /> 43 VOTE: UNAIMOUS <br /> 44 <br /> 45 C. Agricultural Preservation Board —Appointments <br /> 46 The Board considered making appointments to the Agricultural Preservation Board. <br /> 47 A motion was made by Commissioner Hemminger, seconded by Commissioner Jacobs <br /> 48 to appoint: <br /> 49 <br /> 50 Ms. Renee McPherson—to the Cane Creek/Buckhom Voluntary Ag District position. <br />
