Gordon, Barry Jacobs, Pam Hemminger, Earl McKee and Steve <br /> 15 Yuhasz <br /> 16 COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: <br /> 17 COUNTY ATTORNEYS PRESENT: John Roberts <br /> 18 COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: County Manager Frank Clifton, Assistant County Managers <br /> 19 Gwen Harvey, and Michael Talbert and Clerk to the Board Donna Baker (All other staff <br /> 20 members will be identified appropriately below) <br /> 21 <br /> 22 <br /> . 23 1. Additions or Changes to the Agenda <br /> 24 Chair Pelissier went through the items at the County Commissioners' places. <br /> 25 - White sheet—Petition from a member of the public entitled, "Ban the Box" <br /> 26 - White sheet—PowerPoint on the Operating Budget and Capital Investment Plan <br /> 27 - Rose sheet—updated listing for the Economic Development Advisory Board <br /> 28 - White sheet—updated interlocal agreement (implementation agreement) for item 7- <br /> 29 c, Orange County Transit Plan and Related Agreements <br /> 30 - Yellow sheet—copy of Triangle Transportation Survey done by the Regional <br /> 31 Transportation Alliance, also related to item 7-c <br /> 32 <br /> 33 The Board had received an updated "Draft Bus and Rail Investment Plan for Orange <br /> 34 County"just prior to the meeting. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 Chair Pelissier said that there was additional verbiage for a closed session and an <br /> 37 additional closed session item: <br /> 38 <br /> 39 Pursuant to G.S. § 143-318.11(a)(3) "to consult with an attorney retained by the Board in order <br /> 40 to preserve the attorney-client privilege between the attorney and the Board regarding the <br /> 41 cases of Orange County v. Eno River Parking Deck and Orange County v. Town of <br /> 42 Hillsborough." <br /> 43 and <br /> 44 143-318.11(a)(4) To discuss matters relating to the location or expansion of industries or other <br /> 45 businesses in the area served by the public body. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 A motion was made by Commissioner Hemminger, seconded by Commissioner Yuhasz <br /> 48 to add the additional verbiage for the closed session and an additional closed session item. <br /> 49 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 50 <br />
