d. Inform each other of changes in curriculum, Program and staff which <br />may affect the training experience. <br />2. AGENCY RESPONSIBILITIES <br />That the Agency will: <br />a. Provide to the University the sum of $36,321.00 to be paid upon <br />execution of contract. <br />b. Provide a supervised, professional work experience which will <br />substantially contribute both to the achievement of Agency objectives and to the <br />educational objectives of the trainee. <br />C. Appoint a designated Agency representative to coordinate the <br />training Program and to work with the University's instructors and the trainee to <br />facilitate a meaningful learning experience. <br />d. Provide the University with any appropriate written orientation <br />materials to assist the trainee and faculty members. <br />e. Discuss the trainee's performance with him /her on a regular basis, <br />advise the University of the trainee's performance, and work with faculty and the trainee <br />to overcome any deficiencies. <br />f. Work with the MPA Program faculty in helping the trainee integrate <br />classroom learning with professional work assignments. <br />g. Request removal from the training program by the University of any <br />student failing to observe the Agency's policies and procedures. <br />3. UNIVERSITY RESPONSIBILITIES <br />a. Designate as trainee for the Program, with the concurrence of the <br />Aqency representative, a student enrolled in the MPA Program who has completed at least 26 <br />hours of graduate course work. <br />b. Insure that the trainee continues to make normal progress in the MPA <br />Program, and that the trainee is advised as to all applicable rules and regulations <br />through regular contact with the faculty of the University. <br />C. Inform the student of any special requirements of the Agency as <br />
