o`
y C L A R 1 O N
CRA has incorporated sustainability and environmental sensitivity concepts into
every planning and design project it performs. An effective master plan must
consider the programmatic and intangible aspects of a project, but it also must
address the tangible traits of a site, including stormwater management,
orientation to the natural elements, topography and other natural features. Since
master plans generally transform into the built environment, a design team with
planners, engineers and architects can effectively plan the functions and
relationships of a program, as well as provide pragmatic direction on its
implementation. Descriptions of CRA's expertise and summaries of relevant
successful projects are included in this proposal.
Ken Redfoot will lead the firm's work on this Master Plan, assisted by architect
David Taylor and engineer Mike Hammersley. Included in Corley Redfoot's
extensive portfolio of successful projects are several key Orange County
facilities: the current Southern Human Services Center on this site, the Central
Orange Senior Center, and Orange County's main John M. Link, Jr. Government
Services Center.
Martin /Alexiou /Bryson P.C. The working relationship
between consultant and staff will be interactive and vigorous, with the main
communication going through the project managers on each side. We anticipate
frequent telephone conversations and meetings. We intend to produce a monthly
status report on the project to share with staff and others as appropriate. We are
anticipating that meeting logistics be the responsibility of Orange County staff.
We anticipate working out an arrangement for regular posting of products on the
County's website. We look forward to talking about logistics for citizen review
of draft materials.
