We have joined forces on this effort with an outstanding team of firms and individuals with the <br />necessary skills and disciplines to meet the challenges of this exciting project. Our partners include Corley <br />Redfoot Architects with extensive skill and expertise in helping governments and institutions construct <br />long -ra ige master plans; and Martin /Alexiou /Bryson for tasks involving transportation and transit planning. <br />As Pro' ect Manager for the consultant team, I will serve as the point of contact between the consultant team <br />and the County. <br />We are pleased to be in a position to offer a team of professionals who not only have the skill sets needed for <br />this inil iative, but also have direct experience working with, in, and around Orange County. <br />Clarion Associates is one of the most experienced firms in the country on the subject of land use <br />planning and growth management. We are also very local. Our office is in Chapel Hill. We have <br />worked with Orange County in helping you prepare your current Comprehensive Plan and your <br />Unified Development Ordinance, and in helping to construct an Intergovernmental Growth <br />Management Strategy executed between the County and the Town of Hillsborough. We have <br />worked with Hillsborough on land use planning and ordinance writing, and worked with the Town <br />of Chapel Hill on preparation of five neighborhood plans and an Affordable Housing strategy. Prior <br />to joining Clarion in 2005, I served as Planning Director for the Town of Chapel Hill for two <br />decades - - preparing and reviewing master plans for sites like this one. <br />• Corley Redfoot Architects also is based in Orange County, and has a long and impressive track <br />record of preparing Master Plans for governments and universities, including Orange County and <br />UNC. This is one of Orange County's oldest and most prestigious design firms, combining <br />institutional familiarity with cutting -edge design and master planning approaches. <br />• Martin/Alexiou Bryson has been the go -to firm for mobility issues in and around Orange County. In <br />addition to the firm's ongoing advocacy of creative solutions to promote multi -modal transportation <br />opportunities, M /AB has developed systems to monitor and evaluate transportation conditions in <br />Orange County continuously over the last ten years. <br />
