Scope of Wo -k, Schedule, and Budget <br />Southern Ore nge Campus Master Plan — Clarion Team <br />April 25, 2012 <br />Guidolines for the site will address height, density, massing, public access, and energy conservation <br />issue;; both for site and building design. The Plan will include planning -level options for road <br />improvements, along with intersection, transit, bicycle, and pedestrian improvements in the area that <br />may )e necessary to support the new facilities. Mobility considerations will include access to future <br />Carolina North facilities, pedestrian and bicycle access connecting to all surrounding areas, and <br />accommodation of transit service. The Draft Master Plan will be presented to the Orange County <br />Boars of Commissioners for endorsement. <br />TASK 4: DRAFT MASTER <br />PLAN <br />CLARION TEAM' <br />ORANGE COUNTY STAFF: <br />Finalize Master Plan and Design Guidelines for review and <br />Review drafts with consultant team. Staff comments <br />Prepare Draft Masten Plan, Phasing Plan, and Design Guidelines. <br />to consultant one week after receipt of draft <br />products. <br />Prepare materials tc submit to the Town of Chapel Hill for <br />review and approval following Orange County action. Take <br />Arrange for logistics and notifications for Board of <br />Present Draft Master Plan to Orange County Board of Commissioners <br />Commissioners meeting. Assist in distributing <br />for endorsement. <br />materials. <br />SCHEDULE <br />Completed: 18 weeks after Project Initiation <br />Task 5: Final Master Plan. Upon endorsement by the Board of Commissioners, complete the preparation of a <br />final Master Man for the site. Identify possibilities for immediate site work to address parking improvements <br />and possible preparation of building footprints. Prepare a submittal to the Town of Chapel Hill to modify the <br />existing Special Use Permit for the site. Task 5 will include preparation of materials that will be necessary in <br />order to submit the proposed Master plan for review and approval by the Town of Chapel Hill. <br />TASK 5: FINAL <br />MASTER PLAN <br />CLARION TEAM: <br />ORANGE COUNTY STAFF: <br />Finalize Master Plan and Design Guidelines for review and <br />Assist in accomplishing final revisions. Staff comments to <br />consultant one week after receipt of draft products.
