A+tc�chrv� -�� l a <br />Job Description <br />Executive Director <br />Orange Chatham Alternative Sentencing, Inc. <br />As Executive Director of Orange Chatham Alternative Sentencing, Inc. this <br />position answers to the Board of Directors. The Ex. Director is responsible <br />for overseeing the accomplishment of goals and objectives of the programs <br />of the corporation. Meets with the Board of Directors quarterly for meetings <br />and as needed to meet fiscal and programmatic standards. The Board of <br />Directors evaluates this position annually by June 30 each year. <br />PreTrial Services: screening inmates in the 15B District to provide <br />information to the judiciary to facilitate timely, safe and appropriate release <br />of inmates held pre -trial. <br />Sentencing Services: providing written structured community -based <br />sentences when appropriate for the judiciary of the 15B District. <br />This position manages staff of all programs. Meets personally weekly <br />(minimum) with staff members to review program activity and advise <br />(supervision). Executive Director provides direct services to clients. <br />Assures provision of statistical information to the funding sources on a <br />timely basis reflecting the accomplishment of programmatic goals. <br />Assures accounting procedures reflect accurate reimbursement requests <br />monthly to the funding sources (Administrative Office of the Courts and <br />Criminal Justice Partnership- through Orange County Finance). Prepares <br />funding applications and informs board of changes and new information or <br />funding. <br />Attends training and related board meetings as necessary for ongoing <br />program compliance. Available for local and long distance travel. <br />
