Dear Property Owner: <br />12 <br />This notice is to inform you of an upcoming public hearing pertaining to proposed Zoning Atlas (map) changes. This <br />notification is mailed to you in accordance with Article 2.8.7 of the Orange County Unified Development Ordinance. <br />You are receiving this notice because you own property located within 500 -feet of parcels affected by the <br />proposed rezoning. <br />YOUR PROPERTY IS NOT PROPOSED FOR REZONING. <br />Orange County has initiated an application to rezone 20.7 acres of land located along the Orange - Alamance County <br />Line. The rezoning involves lands transferred into Orange County because of the recent adjustment to the County Line. <br />No project is proposed at this time. <br />The Orange County Board of Commissioners and Planning Board will hold a Joint Public Hearing on the proposed <br />changes on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Department of Social Services located at 113 Mayo Street <br />(Hillsborough Commons Shopping Center) in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
